Let's get your pup ready for day one.
A calm, one-on-one hello. We get to know your pup and see how they settle in with the group, so their first real day goes smoothly in the right room for their size.

A first impression, not a test. There's no pass or fail. We just get to know who they are.
Schedule the assessment
Four quick things to finish first.
You can schedule now. Just get these in before assessment day, so we can spend the visit on your pup, not paperwork.

Two calm hours, four simple steps.
- Your time slot
Drop off
Bring them in on a leash with their usual collar or harness. A quick hello, then you're free to go.
- One on one
Meet and greet
We take it slow. A counselor gets to know them first, then introduces a few friendly pups. Every counselor is Pet CPR certified and trained in Dawgs Academy.
- Raiders or Knights
Settle into their room
Rooms are split by size: Raiders for 30 to 90 lbs, Knights for under 30. They play there for the rest of the visit.
- About 2 hours in
Pick up and catch up
We share how it went and what's next. Then you can book their first day.
Assessment day is on us. There's no charge for your pup's assessment day.
Is the assessment really required?
Yes, for every new pup. It's how we make sure every pup is ready for group play before their first day. Once it's done, you can book their first day.
Do I stay during the assessment?
No. Pups settle in faster without their people nearby. Drop them off, and we'll let you know when it's time for pickup.
Can I schedule before finishing the forms?
Yes. Just get registration, the behavior questions and vaccine records in before assessment day.
What vaccines does my pup need?
Rabies, DHLPP and Bordetella, all current. We can't start the assessment without them.
What if my pup has a hard time?
It happens, and it's okay. We'll give you honest feedback and talk through the best next step together. If they need more time to settle, we invite them back, and that session is free too.
Why only 9am to 2pm?
It's the quiet window between the morning drop-off rush and the afternoon pickup rush, so your pup gets our full attention.
Should I take a tour first?
If you haven't been in yet, we'd love that. Tours are free, about 15 minutes, and humans only.
