About Us

A little place with
a whole lot of love.

We're a family-run doggy daycare in Las Vegas, started by pet parents who spent 20 years thinking, "If only they did this differently, it would be perfect." So we built it ourselves.

How It Started

It started with a chocolate Lab named Coffee.

Coffee has been a daycare regular since he was seven months old. You could always hear the excitement in his bark at drop-off. Over the years, we took him to facilities across Seattle, Oregon, California, and Las Vegas. At every one, we found ourselves thinking the same thing: "This is good, but it could be so much better."

Better supervision. Better communication. Better attention to who our dog actually is, not just another pup in a room. We never imagined we'd be in a position to build our own facility from scratch. But when the opportunity came, we knew exactly what we wanted to create.

A Lifelong Calling

20 years of loving dogs. Now it's a lifetime commitment.

My journey started in college with a dream of becoming a veterinarian. Life took me in a different direction (I spent over 17 years working with people), but my heart never left the world of dogs. It was always there, a passion project that brought me joy, waiting for the right moment.

When my husband and I decided to follow that passion full-time, Las Vegas felt like the perfect place. We'd always loved the city. We made the move, built Dawgs House from the ground up, and poured every lesson from 20 years of daycare experience into it.

The ultimate goal? Not just running the best daycare we can, but eventually launching a rescue to help even more dogs in need.

"We couldn't find the daycare our dogs deserved. So we built it, and then we just kept going."

What We Built

A daycare designed by pet parents, for their dogs.

Every frustration we'd ever had as pet parents (vague updates, overcrowded rooms, never quite knowing how the day went) made it onto a list. Then we got to work.

We built a system that tracks 300+ behavioral moments a day. Put 10 TVs and 6 tablets around the facility so every counselor knows every dog by name, quirk, and favorite friend.

We built two apps. One for pet parents, with report cards, photos, and live HD cameras. One for our team, so they can capture moments, track details, and learn your pup's story, all at their fingertips. Added reverse osmosis water, medical-grade air purifiers, and rubber flooring that's easy on paws.

Some folks might say we went overboard. We think we could always go a little bit further.

What We Believe

The things we'll never compromise on.

🐾

Every dog deserves to be known.

Not just their name. Their personality, their preferences, their quirks. The more we know, the better the care. That's why we track everything.

👀

Transparency builds trust.

Live cameras, detailed report cards, real photos. We don't ask you to take our word for it. We show you. Every day.

🤲

Patience is not optional.

Every interaction starts with gentleness. We follow LIMA because we believe dogs deserve respect, understanding, and care that never raises its voice.

The details matter. All of them.

The water. The air. The flooring. The music. The gates. If it affects your dog's day, we've thought about it, tested it, and made it the best it can be.

The Name

Why "Dawgs" House?

My husband and I met at the University of Washington, and we've been passionate Dawgs fans ever since. When it came time to name our business, it just felt right to blend our love for dogs with our love for the game.

Dawgs House is our way of paying homage to our team while creating a place where every pup feels like part of the pack.

If you're a fellow college football fan, we'd love to see you and your pup show off your team spirit, whether it's a bandana, a jersey, or just repping your school colors on game day!

The Team

The people who know your dog by name.

Every counselor is trained in LIMA methodology, canine body language, and our behavioral tracking system. But more importantly, they genuinely love what they do.
